The summer months offer a different range of experiences. Jackson Hole is home to several golf courses, including Teton Pines, an Arnold Palmer Signature Course, that offer incredible views of the Teton Mountains. Once the snow melts and the turf dries, Jackson Hole’s mountain slopes turn into a mountain biker’s dream. Miles of scenic trails are well suited to riders of all skill levels. Access to Jackson Hole’s bike park is available using the Teewinot chair lift, which operates from June 15 to Sept. 15. Day trips to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and the National Elk Refuge are also must do’s during your stay in the valley.
You’ve spent all day on Jackson Hole’s ski slopes and you’ve built up quite the appetite. What do you do? Fortunately, you won’t ever have to worry about going hungry. In Teton Village, Jackson, and Wilson you’ll find a wide range of dining options, including steakhouses and Asian and Italian restaurants. Some of these eateries offer local favorites such as buffalo prime rib, smoked elk, and Snake River Cutthroat Trout native to Jackson Hole. If you’re up for a drink, try a locally brewed beer, whiskey, or wine at one of the many pubs and bar in the valley.
