Exploring Telluride’s mountains and valleys is a great way to build up an enormous appetite. Fortunately, you’ll find a staggering number of high quality restaurants throughout town that will satisfy any craving you have. Treat yourself at one of Telluride’s high quality steakhouses or American, French, or Italian restaurants, which typically feature extensive wine lists and exceptional service. You’ll also find pizzerias, Asian and Mexican restaurants, charming coffee shops, and local bars and pubs.
The River Club is an excellent property–beautiful furnishings, wood floors, a nice-sized and well-equipped kitchen, nice quality furniture. The bathrooms are a bit oddly configured without a lot of counter space, but entirely adequate. We were at the River Club over the summer, and the concierge was very helpful in arranging various activities for us, including a fun fishing excursion. The property is located right on the river (great location, you won’t need a car at all during your visit, you can walk everywhere!), and you can hear the beautiful running water in the evening.
Asked for quiet room with view and balcony, and got MUCH more–could not be happier with the result. Great Telluride location, walk to everything in town. Our two bedroom (two bath) unit was clean, very large, fully equipped kitchen and lovely furnishings. All the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, especially Keeley and Mitzi, when planning day trips. Home baked cookies each morning were a special treat. No need to worry about parking, garage in building.
I am here for the skiing, the rooms are great, the kitchen is adequate, and the bathrooms are well equipped with steam showers and jacuzzi.
There is a flat screen TV in each room and the staff are great in giving us rides to the ski lifts… anywhere we need to go. VERY CONVENIENT.
There is a well stocked gyms with cardio and free weights and a good selection of board games (scrabble, Catan, Taboo, chess, checkers).
